From humble beginnings as an immigrant from Spain to Newark, New Jersey, to where I am today, I've encountered challenges, celebrated triumphs, and pursued personal and professional growth.
Born in Spain, I embarked on a life-changing journey when my family immigrated to Newark, New Jersey. This experience as an immigrant instilled in me a profound appreciation for the opportunities and the rich tapestry of cultures that the United States offers.
I graduated with both a Bachelor and Master's degree in Civil Engineering, fueled by a curiosity and passion to make a positive impact on the world. Building upon my education, I launched my career with prominent construction contractors such as Turner Construction and StructureTone. These invaluable experiences allowed me to contribute to significant projects, working alongside industry leaders and gaining insights into complex construction processes.
One of the defining moments in my career came when I successfully completed a large Microsoft data center project in Virginia. Inspired by this accomplishment, I made the courageous decision to start my own construction company. Drawing upon the expertise and experiences gathered from working with renowned contractors, I set out to build a company that would deliver exceptional results, emphasizing quality, innovation, and client satisfaction.
Having completed projects in various locations, I was captivated by the vibrant and thriving area near Durham, North Carolina. The remarkable opportunities and the supportive community compelled me to establish my company in this amazing region. It became the perfect backdrop for pursuing my professional aspirations while embracing the charm and beauty of the surrounding area.
Beyond my entrepreneurial ventures, I carry the valuable lessons learned from my humble beginnings as an immigrant. This background instilled in me resilience, adaptability, and a deep sense of empathy. I believe in the power of personal development and continuous learning, and I have embraced travel, relationships, and self-reflection to shape my character and broaden my perspective.
